简介
Almost Human started in 2009 as a joint venture between two musicians. Both members have been in multiple bands, Mark being a guitarist and Evan playing bass. The Music you will hear has been inspired by many nights sitting at a computer drinking beer and eating cookies, as well as watching Korean Tv. So if you are ready, come on over to the Darkside, its more fun over here. Flesh & Bone is the First installment of the Almost Human apocalypse. It takes us on the journey from the creation of I.S.H. through the wasted lands that once were inhabited by civilized beings. We watch helplessly as I.S.H. delves deeper into is psyche and deeper into madness. Humble Beginnings In the not so distant future, mans means finally catch up with his vision. A new race of sentient robot is designed. These robots and humans co-exist peacefully for years, developing newer and more advanced types of robots to make day to day life easier and more enjoyable. The only boundary not crossed was that of "crossbreeding". Sure, humans used synthetic limbs to enhance the lives of though less fortunate, amputees, deformities etc... but the concept of making a robot with human parts was considered unthinkable. A travesty. Until one day in the labs of the S.R.S building, scientists "enlist" the help of one soldier. He is assigned a very dangerous mission and asked by his superior officer, who also is taking kickbacks from S.R.S., if anything should go wrong would he be willing to donate his body to S.R.S. for a special project. The soldier consented and turned to leave and get prepared for his mission only to be shot in the back of the head by his Commanding officer. His body dying he is taken to the Labs at S.R.S and prepared for surgery. Using the latest in technological and medical sciences, a new more advanced robot is completed. The first Intelligent Synthetic Humanoid is brought online. Hailed as the most advanced Robot of the age, and unveiled at a press conference on prime time TV, I.S.H. is paraded around on stage in front of a large human and robot audience. All is going well until his dirty little secret is let out by one of the attending reporters, who got an anonymous tip on the subject. The crowd is outraged, driven into a frenzy of almost riot proportions. The Robots, having been given a reason to feel their existence and the existence of their creators threatened decide that the only course of action is to protect the humans from themselves. This is of course met with resistance, but what weapons can be brought to bear against beings of metal. There were casualties on the robot side, but FAR fewer than those on the human side. I.S.H. is fostered away to an underground vault were he is deactivated and left for his own protection. Until he finally reboots and emerges in the aftermath of the revolt. Flashes of memories from his previous life flood his newly enhanced brain, images of wife, son, career, and those that did this to him. He is consumed by feeling and sets off to find that which was taken from him. This is his story. And his journey through the aftermath.
