“A Prelude to Summer” is a collaboration unlike any other. Carrie Hennessey and Hiram Titus grip the listener throughout. Unbeknownst to both Hiram and Carrie, this album has been a few years in the making. Since they met, they’ve been performing Hiram’s original works in church services and small joint concerts. Many were previously written and never performed, and many others written specifically for Carrie’s voice. It was all in fun and for the spontaneity of creating moving music together, until a friend proposed a recital. It was a natural progression to express their musical connection with an audience in full concert. Regardless of the musical style, as you will hear this duo is electric!
