With 2012 came many prophecies but none seemed more apparent than the psychedelic success enjoyed by Canadian dubstep masters Tron Sepia (Eric Laufer & Mirek Hamet). Weird Fishes & Other Stories is their highly anticipated debut on Fish ‘n Trips Records, offering a convergence in styles best described as cinematic dubstep-influenced psychedelic wobble music. Not easily caught, but high in psychoactive properties, these “weird fishes” contain huge bass lines, tight beats, and etherial female vocals that will transport the listener to other states of consciousness.
