The idea for "Chameleon" as a series came to me from a quote in an album review of my first record "Raisin' Hell" by Lucky Boyd of the Academy of Texas Music. He said, "She has a beautifully trained voice, and her Chameleon like use of it would stand up in any genre." When looking at my writing over the last couple of years, I realized I had been doing what I've always done: writing songs that connected to me or told stories of my life or other's in whatever mood or "genre" felt right. I knew that my first album was the same mixture of sounds so I decided to attempt marketing the music a little differently than before. I separated them into groups of songs that had a similar style and came up with five different albums I wanted to record that are all a reflection of myself: Eclectic, ever - changing, emotional, raw, loving, fun, and most importantly - free. A "chameleon" of sounds. I hope you enjoy this first disc of country songs as much as I have enjoyed writing, performing, and recording them!
