Ten new original songs from multiple Detroit Music award finalist John Holk & the Sequins. Recorded in Detroit and Ann Arbor between March 2015 and August 2016, these songs find Holk and his crack band in a dreamy mode. Synth lines exist in harmony with droney, jangling guitar and heavenly choir vocals, courtesy of new members Isabel Nelson-Mervak and Bob Mervak (vocals and keys). Where You Going is an album about the fragility of human relationships and the enlightenment quest.
