The End of Things You Wished Would Last Forever contains six songs about early thirties adulthood. About growing older, losing loved ones and the wisdom that brings. Humo, Belgium’s most influential music magazine awarded this EP a 3.5 out of 4 and called it “an uppercut (…) six songs filled with melancholy, sadness and pain, stripped of all possible frills and sung by a voice echoing the deepest despair.”

SimpleSongs is an Antwerp based singer-songwriter with a penchant for melancholy piano songs, introspective lyrics, tons of reverb, found sound and analogue synths.
