Powernap are fronted by the charismatic singer Hugo Mudie, who also fronted both, The Saint Catherine's (Fat Wreck) and Medictation. (Little Rocket Records). Powernap bring their melodic Punk Rock and tuneful songs, from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The songs were recorded in their home town, by Jocelyn Gagné at Studio La Track, mixed by Marc-André Beaudet in his mansion in Montreal, over two days, of which half of the tracks were featured on a 7" release by Asian man records; Asian man music for Asian man people. The remaining three tracks from that recording session, are now being made available to you on their new EP, Baristabarnak via Little Rocket Records. .
