Mississippi MacDonald is a 3 times British Blues Awards nominee, from London, England. He has been playing since he was 11 years old and has travelled extensively on the US blues trail, meeting, amongst others, Pinetop Perkins, Willie Big Eyes Smith, Otis Clay and BB King. Mississippi’s last two albums, “Dress For The Money” and “American Accent” reached number 1 and 3 respectively in the UK IBBA Blues Charts. American Accent was one of the top 10 IBBA albums of 2016, and was the “Blues Is Back” Album of the Year, 2017. Steve Bailey began performing on harmonica in downtown Seattle clubs in the early 1970s. He joined the legendary Isaac Scott band in the late 1970s, and spent 7 years with him soaking up blues knowledge. He formed Steve Bailey and the Blue Flames in the 1980s, wrote and recorded extensively, and won numerous awards from the Washington Blues Society. He also performed with the Crossroads Band and the T-Town Aces beginning in 2002, and then returned as a band leader in this band in 2013. Steve has written over 100 songs and recorded extensively with his own band and on other CDs. He has backed up Isaac Scott, Albert Collins, John Lee Hooker, Junior Watson, and numerous others.
