At just eight years of age, young singer Mia Garcia is already taking the world by storm. Born into a musical family, her mother is a singer and her father is a drummer, she has been encouraged to take the stage since the age of five. Mia is full of energy and eager, and singing is the perfect outlet for her. She often participates in karaoke competitions, and performs with her parents in and around Austin, Texas. Her first recorded single and music video is a cover of the Nicky Jam/Enrique Iglesias song El Perdon. Her video currently has over 20,000 views on YouTube and has gained internet radio airplay all over the world. Her ambitions are clear: to become a famous singer and to one-day sing with Shakira. She also wants to lead by example by encouraging other kids to dream big and succeed. She loves cumbia and pop music best of all, and spends much of her spare time singing and playing guitar, promising to release many new recordings in 2016 for her adoring fans. When she isn’t making music and reaching for the stars, Mia studies hard and is on the honor roll at school.
