Robot Love (Steve Nishimura), a producer of minimal and tech house hails from Boston where he studies composition at Berklee College of Music. Through his music, he explores a unique process of sound design and production methods. Drawing from hardware, software, instruments and original samples and exploring influences spanning wildly different backgrounds- from Steve Reich to Stimming to Karlheinz Stockhausen, his music contains equal parts sensibility and absurdity. A collector and creator of home brewed sounds, sound designer (MAX/msp), visualist (Dice Motion), bass player (YYPA 2006) and composer, he will continue to explore his particular region of method for creating and manipulating sound and music.
