The stunning,singer/songwriter, and performer is here with a distinct vision of an eclectic mix between R&B, Pop, and Reggae, accented by attitude and Soul. With culturally rich Jamaican roots, this Brooklyn born beauty obtained her musical influences from her environment.Respectively, this alchemical, of Portuguese, West Indian and Spanish descent, decided to dedicated her life to music. At age 6 ALanna began performing at family gatherings using the living room as her theater. At age 8 ALanna began training in dance, specializing in modern, African and tap. At 9 years old ALanna was inducted to Eliot Feld’s Ballet Tech with an intense focus on Ballet. Relocating with family to Atlanta, Georgia ALanna attended Norths Springs Charter School of Arts and Sciences. Within her four-year tenure ALanna danced in music videos and award shows. Furthering her education ALanna attended Georgia State University, majoring in Film and English. Although ALanna valued education her hunger to make music burst fourth. During her sophomore year in college ALanna began writing and recording with local Atlanta girl group Cherish. As music opportunities soon revealed ALanna focused intensely on recording music and building her catalog. Venturing deeper into her career ALanna has moved back to New York. “I am just focused,” said ALanna. Her storytelling style of music is very reflective of her culture as well as her experiences.
