In the fall of 2021, Layers, Saycet's fourth album, marked a new beginning in the career of its composer. Divided between ambient piano pieces and powerful melodic techno epics, this long format, largely fed by Pierre Lefeuvre's work in soundtrack, was the proof of a new versatility and a real emancipation from his masters. Layers is released today in an "extended" version, enriched with the Father EP (sent as a scout before the release of Layers), the Sleepless versions (created for the live show) and unreleased remixes. Thus, the young German composer Niklas Paschburg played Malaparte again on the piano, pulling the original towards a neo-classical universe tinged with electronica. Adrien Pallot, known for his work as a producer with La Femme or Jackson & His Computer Band, proposed a remix of Murmuration with an ambient feel, of which he is now one of the most prominent artisans in France. Chloé, essential artist of the French electronic music, as comfortable in techno clubs as in her recent tribute to Steve Reich, will also propose a remix of the track Layers.
