Raw production (but not 'primitive'), skillfully grim necro-ish attack, with strong sharp edges of old-school Heavy Metal brutality in the vein of similar Underground bands found on Northern Heritage (CLANDESTINE BLAZE), Bestial Burst (BLOODHAMMER/INCRIMINATED), Breath of Night (JUDAS ISCARIOT, KRIEG), Regimental Records (HELLKULT, NACHTMYSTIUM), Asgard Musik (NUCLEAR WINTER, STRIBORG), etc.

Highly reminiscent of DARKTHRONE's "Under A Funeral Moon" True Black Metal classic album! Ten (10) songs; 53 minutes of distinctive orthodox Black Metal that stands apart from, and above the rest of the 'bedroom' USBM scene! This new UVALL CD ("Pro" manufactured; not "cdr") on Antinomian Records is released in cooperation with god is Myth Records (whose previous releases include albums by Polish HELLVETO, Sweden's DAMNATION, SAPFHIER, etc.) in 2005. In the near-future, this "Obsidian Torment" CD by UVALL will surely prove to be essential for diehard Black Metal'ers, alongside our previous Antinomian releases such as CULT OF DAATH's "Under the Cover of the Triumphant Holocaust" CD, SIN ORIGIN/VELONNIC SIN split-CD, SIN ORIGIN's "Night Aeternal" CD, EVERWINTER "Final Victory" MCD, etc.!
