Eddie Edgard Jimenez (Jaye) (Born July 31, 1990), better known by the stage name El Guapo, is a Latin American rapper and songwriter. Jaye, 23, was born and raised in East Los Angeles, CA from birth until the age of 13 when he and his family relocated to Houston, TX. Upon Completing High School he moved to Hollywood, CA to attend The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) where he graduated from in 2011 with his BFA. After graduating college, He joined a rap/reggaeton duo known as, Los Hoolies. The duo released they’re debut album called, Superstar Natural, in 2011, and signed to Los Angeles records (Publishing Company) in 2012. After seeing the duo split in early 2014, Guapo, is now taking his time to focus on his solo career. He has teamed up with Pawnshop Music Group to produce his highly anticipated Solo Debut album, Purple Knights, which is set to be released in February of 2015.
