Hi, I am Cosmos Rennert, aka Hypnotic Earth, an ambient performer in Northern California releasing a recording series for meditative and aural relaxation. This is a very strange story indeed: In 2014 I found myself in a hyper-sensory reality where all but quiet sounds hurt my ears and shocked my nervous system. At first inspired by pink noise, nature sounds and fractal tones, I soon discovered what I dubbed ‘hypnotic music’; calming, restful, soft, deep textures of audio which create a healing response in the nervous system allowing a moment of stopping, relaxing and resetting of the brain and hyperactive mind. Eventually I was able to start playing music again, very quietly. Tuning to 432hz, I began recording this hypnotic music focusing on happy harmonic drones for relaxation, energy work therapy, meditation, massage. Playing and listening to this music vastly improved my suffering from stress, and eased my tinnitus and hyperacusis. I also make piano meditation music and world meditative music with voice, flute and cello. Coming soon, probably under the name Prema Tantra, will be a group with my beloved Ani Adams. The music fuses Ani’s soothing voice with Cosmos’ music.
