A straight ahead rock and roll/rootsy/americana/jersey shore band with 14 new songs including 11 Joe D'Urso originals and covers by Marah, Little Steven and the BoDeans will take Joe D'Urso & Stone Caravan back on the road through 2010/2011 as they add more cities and countries to the 25 countries and countless town and cities they have performed in. Along the lines they have been compared to Mellencamp, Springsteen, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Bob Seger, Wilco, Counting Crows and the Wallflowers. All very different band but who all have true, honest rock and roll and solid songwriting at their core and are great live bands. That is what makes up the new CD, Down Here By The River by Joe D'Urso & Stone Caravan.
