Mega City One has a sparkly riff that a rock solid bass nails down, the track introduces some Rhodes before building to the break. Then comes the acid and it's a trip for the head and feet as the tracks ebbs and flows with the atmosphere and dance floor dynamics set to 10. Next up, the King of Norway Ralph Myerz suitably steps up to the plate, being 2 Billion Beats' favourite ever producer. Keeping it deep but with a lighter mood, he goes for a Balearic disco vibe and hits a bullseye! Vocoders, NRG bass, crisp production and the original riff give it a classic Paper house sound. Joe Morris goes more nu-disco with analogue bass and acid, sax and stabbing synths that lock things down before the piano chords. When they come in it's that dance floor moment you go looking for. Finally Flash Atkins heads in the opposite direction with a mix that's deep and moody. Over broken beats, it weaves it's way through a soundscape of arpeggiated synths, live bass, delayed guitars and percussion to the break where it drops to nothing but a messed up gospel vocal. Then the track elements are re-introduced before strings finish things off nicely.
