Natalie Mae and her band The Unturned Tricks are a lively group of talented young musicians that play a fun mix of Americana, country, blues, and folk music. Led by singer and songwriter Natalie Mae, their tunes represent influences by the likes of Dinah Washington, Bob Wills, Patty Griffin, Sister Odetta Tharpe, and Hank Williams. Natalie Mae began writing in her teens and after only a few years since moving to New Orleans from her home state of Michigan, she began playing solo shows throughout the city. By the time she released her first solo album, "Waiting on You" in 2009, she had already started to add the talents of Pat Fee on drums, Josh Wexler on piano, Ted Long on bass, and most recently Alex Bachari on lead guitar, to her life performances. This five-piece is about to release their first full-band LP, "More Than You Know", with 11 original tracks that showcase not only Natalie Mae's incredible taste and talent in writing and producing, but also the tremendous musicianship of each player in the band.
