This is undoubtedly my favorite type of music, from Flume to Odesza to Slow Club to Manilla Killa to Bearson to Mazde. I've had a really hard time defining the genre to others who ask about what I'm into, musically. I know the sidebar clarifies that it's not a genre but a category, but what musically makes Future unique? I always notice that you can tell immediately by a really heavy synth falling late on a beat, or having really steady bass over atmospheric or euphoric dreamscape sounds.
