The award-winning producer has taken Spence under his wing to executive produce the album, due out early 2023. In Spence's own words"(On God) is a motivational song written through positive affirmations, almost like a prayer. It reflects on my story, which gives me hope in the present and faith in my future. On God means I’m standing on God as my foundation. And every line is true, hence the term On God." Spence is not just a musical savant; he’s a creative: a trendsetting designer, a fashion mogul, an eclectic visual artist and so much more. His ability to create art out of music, clothes and any medium has been instilled since birth. Growing up in Franklin, New Jersey, self-proclaimed as “the most diverse small town”, Shotta was always embraced and supported by his community. This community was immersed in hip hop, Jersey club music, soul, rock and reggae/dancehall music. He pulled inspiration from the culture that he grew up around and gained the hustle and tenacity from his heritage. Earlier this year, Spence made his Coachella debut during 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Forever 2022 set. He also performed at Head in the Clouds (Los Angeles) in Aug ‘22 and will perform at Head in the Clouds (Jakarta and Manila) in Dec ‘22. Spence is a featured model in American Eagle’s 2022 Summer/Fall campaign.
