Palm Beach County, Florida singer/songwriter Sonny Russell released his first CD "Caribbilly for Connoisseurs," in 1997. The Thomasville, North Carolina native has performed up and down the east coast from Boston, to the Keys and chose the Palm Beaches of South Florida as his new home in 1983. Sonny's current release "BIMINI TWIST" includes 12 original songs written by Sonny Russell and three cowriters: keyboardist Michael Tschudin (also cowriter of "Cousin In Miami"and "Quietly Making Noise" with Jimmy Buffett), Michael Steinbrook, the producer and Jim Caughlan, original drummer for The Pure Prairie League. On the "BIMINI TWIST" project, Sonny wrote Be My Lover, I Just Love You and It Don't Matter Anyway, and was cowriter on "BIMINIi TWIST", Tequesta Moon and The Clubhouse. Once you hear it, you will know "BIMINI TWIST" is a colorful blend of musical styles.
