I have been writing songs for Jesus since early 2013 when I got this insane creative burst that hasn't stopped since, and I've never looked back! I've come from a very musical background and it's always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My dad was a piano mover/tuner who also played guitar and sang. He was such a huge inspiration to me in learning everything I could about music. I started taking piano lessons from my neighbour when I was quite young, then switched to guitar when I was 11 or 12 years old. All throughout high school, I was in the choir as well as the repertory then concert band when I found my love for playing the flute. Up until 2013, I wrote some of my own secular songs (albeit, they weren't anything to write home about). Then I had my first child in 2008, and my second in 2010. By this time, I had felt that the messages in the popular songs you hear on the radio had gone downhill, and they weren't messages that I could really get behind, so I asked God to give me the inspiration to write the music that He wanted me to write. I hope that my music will strengthen and inspire those who hear it to learn more about the love that God that has been shown to us through His Son Jesus, as well as deepen the relationship that we have with Him.
