Jonezy is a veteran, St. Louis emcee, originally from Granite City, Illinois. He sharpened his skills early on free-styling, and gaining attention from his classmates. In 2009, Jonezy released his first project, entitled "Mr. (FillintheBlank)" and has since released 4 more projects. His most recent, "Social Nomad" is available for free download at www.jonezy.bandcamp.com. Jonezy continues to work with long time producers/collaborators while also branching out and working with young talent around the St. Louis area. His most recent music video, "Keep Pushin'" is making waves and he is showing no signs of slowing up in 2017. Jonezy prides himself on his live performances and brings a unique intensity to his shows. This lyricist is always changing is flows and cadences, often using intricate, compound rhyme schemes. Jonezy's music is about his everyday life, and many have praised him for how widely relatable his music is. Jonezy started a monthly hip-hop residency called 2nd Story Saturdays that ran successfully for 3 and 1/2 years. He has opened for national acts like Murs, Mayday, Ces Cru, Gift of Gab, The Beatnuts, Abstract Rude, and more. He has had the awesome opportunity of performing inside Busch Stadium, as well as other staple St. Louis venues like The Pageant, Old Rock House, Blueberry Hill, Atomic Cowboy, 2720 Cherokee, Cicero's and others.
