Tastes Like Chicken's album is an eclectic blend of all genres of music. The album is an extension of themselves, all original music with a unique sound that blends acoustic rock with hints of jazz, blues, r&b, classic rock and country.The band prides themselves on their live performances and musicianship. And that is what they wanted to convey with this CD, they wanted it to be as much like their live performance as to not compromise their unique sound with a saxophone for melodic leads and the vocal sibling harmonies between the singers. They have been compared to bands such as Dave Matthews Band and Zac Brown Band. The band was formed in the pee dee area of South Carolina in which Tastes Like Chicken was voted best band in the pee dee by the Florence Morning News and its readers in 2012. Members of the band have also had the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Sister Hazel, Lee Brice and Boyz II Men and the Blue Dogs!
