Nooch's "Thug's Apology", gets up close and personal as the young thug examines the darker side of his relationship with his child's mother. The initial attraction, introduction, and eventual seduction of the already-spoken-for object of his desire, brings the listener to believe this to be just another ditty about romance. The tables quickly turn however, as the honeymoon period fades, and turbulent and oftentimes life-threatening scenarios, riddled with guns, drugs, and domestic violence, take center stage. Nooch recalls the trials and tribulations the young mother endures, as she struggles to make things work with the misguided hustler, who continues to choose his lifestyle in the streets over being a new father.
