Eric George is a Vermont-based writer and performer who helps keep the American folk tradition alive. From early country and delta blues to original songwriting, his repertoire is remarkably extensive and diverse. With a voice that drifts between dirt and clouds, he is able to entertain folks of any age and background, singing with roots dug deep.

He's created over a hundred songs by the age of 25, writing with the lyrical conviction of an early Dylan and singing with the graceful twang of an Appalachian balladeer. And while his songs often consist of a simplicity rooted in folk tradition, they stray off the beaten path.
