Group led by Marco Bosco and Ruriá Duprat, Group from the backing band of singer Zé Rodrix, at the end of the 70’s. The Group debuted as a soloist in February 1980 in a season in Tokyo in Japan. Back to Brazil, in São Paulo, started the Paulista avant-garde movement and the independent movement of production and distribution.

Active and with relative success of audience and sales, had on their second album "Aqualouco" the participation of a session of 5 horns, arranged by the legendary Maestro Rogério Duprat, the great name of Brazilian musical revolution and the arranger of Tropicália.

Acaru Group recorded only two albums, but generated a partnership that lasts until today between these two musicians, the percussionist Marco Bosco and the Maestro, Arranger and Keyboard player Ruriá Duprat, both Grammy winners.
