Apart from being known currently as the voice and writer behind the hit Mercyless with Dj Fred Everything. Wayne Tennant has managed to craft his first solo collection of songs in a manner that commands attention. The album opener, "Temporary Pain" can be described as catchy, yet armed with lyrics that describe pain of a break up that gives hope and strength to anyone who has been in an addictive relationship. On "That's for Sure", the song describes love in the budding stages and speaks of friendship and loyalty even to the very end. Musically, this song comes with various musical changes that is reminiscent of arrangements that Sting would appreciate. On "Learn to Love Myself", the style is reminiscent vocally of Babyface and Prince and is a washed with a beautiful acoustic guitar being played throughout the track Wesley Louissaint. The heartfelt ballad "The Sun" is perhaps the standout on the album because of it's simplicity, and the vulerability of Wayne's voice. The song, "Show Me" can be described as spiritual in it's meaning, jazzy in it's musical offering and catchy in it's sing along chorus structure. Keep in mind that all of the songs were written with Duff, who is part of the band "JamesKing" , who is based out of Toronto. On the closing song "Lucky's Dream", Wayne brings up the tempo and pays homage to his current hit Mercyless but with more of a structured approach and vocally takes chances by being playful in his singing and songwriting.

This album can only be described in three words, eclectic, diverse in it's approach, and cohesive. This album is refreshing and is a must have for anyone who is trying to look outside the norm.
