Denise Josiah is a passionate singer and songwriter with a heart for God. Her love for music started at the very early age of 3 and since then has flourished over the years. Denise began performing at church functions and has since been invited to minister at several other gatherings including large convocations such as the 2015 General Conference Session in San Antonio TX, and several other special occasions including official government gatherings. Denise has also had the privilege to sing before the Queen while on her royal visit to the Caribbean. Given her God-given abilities to minister through conviction, Denise has performed extensively in the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean, blessing her listeners with her consummate passion for delivering encouragement through song, her natural enthusiasm for life, and her personal love for God. Denise just release her first single “I Surrender”, co-written by her husband Donnell Josiah. Currently, she is aggressively working to release her first CD project before the end of 2015. Denise is passionate about excellence and has a high attention to detail. She has served as psalmist, praise and worship coordinator, choir director, and facilitator for events including Discover the Power and BAYDA Camporees and the NET2004 global evangelistic telecast. Denise holds a Masters Degree in School Counseling, and undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Spanish, and a Minor in music. Denise was well regarded for her strong classical vocal abilities as a solo vocalist with the Andrews University Singers, prior to assuming her role as the assistant director and conductor for the Deliverance Mass Choir. Denise is committed to spreading the gospel through song and to connect hearts and minds with their Savior.
