Well, not exactly, but their previously unreleased debut album from 2007 sums up the post-9/11 era of American life perfectly. War, economic frustration, an overinflated media, escapism, the false security of the suburbs are all themes, but so is having fun, blowing off some steam and sticking up for yourself. The Boston area based rapper/producers offer an assault - machine gun raps and complex rhyme schemes. This comes all over hyper-dense but still thumping beat mosaics. Sonically, the album really takes on the claustrophobia and paranoia of the times in America, but they make sure everyone once in a while make sure to beat it all back. Abrasive yet melodic, they did the Kayne West "Yeezus" thing years before he claimed he was a complete genius. Shortly after finishing their debut, the two discontinued efforts in rap - but they left us this gem of an LP.
