Don't really care for rap or hip-hop; I'm not a connoisseur of the genre by any means. However, the positive vibes, melancholy tunes, and old-school style beats caught my ear. This is a dynamic group with enough lyrical mix to keep things fresh. I never found myself thinking "This is still the same song" when I switched tracks. Knocked off a star for the occasional cliched rhyme; however, not a common complaint. The album builds up a a very laid-back groove and makes you feel very comfortable. I enjoyed the positive message these guys put forward; I hate hearing the continual garbage of the pop-rap-gangster world. No pimps, hos, or oversampled machine beats in these tracks. Definitely recommend.
