Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Spill has been compared to Foo Fighters, Matchbox 20, and Cheap Trick. In their short career, the group has played with The Beatifics, Creed, Victor Delorenzo, The Rosenbergs, and The LackLoves. Named so because they find "the best songs just spill out of you," Spill started back in 1997. They created their self-titled 6 song EP with the help of producer Mike Hoffman, whose worked with bands like Verve Pipe and Milwaukee's own Victor DeLorenzo of The Violent Femmes. While they have received local radio support--playing live on Milwaukee's WLUM, and getting air time on WLZR and WMSE, the band knows the importance of being heard nationally. So they've been busy... Spill has literally been playing coast to coast. From their midwestern home town of Milwaukee to the west coast for L.A.'s International Pop Overthrow Festival, to the east coast for Baltimore's Baltipop Festival, south to Nashville's 2NMC festival, and up to Canada to play Toronto's North By North East Music Festival, where they picked up a Critic's Pick from NOW Magazine.
