Ben Newhouse is a composer of concert and film music. Newhouse’s concert music has been performed by the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra, the Eastman School Symphonic Orchestra, the William and Mary Symphony Orchestra, and various chamber music groups in the United States, Europe and Asia. Newhouse is a magna cum laude alumnus of the Eastman School of Music, where he studied music composition with Christopher Rouse, Augusta Read Thomas, and Sydney Hodkinson.  In 1998, Eastman awarded Newhouse the “Howard Hanson Prize” for best orchestral composition.  Newhouse was also awarded the BMI Pete Carpenter Fellowship in 1999 and spent several years creating a catalogue of film and television music, including scoring the Disney DVD logo.  In addition, Newhouse is a curriculum designer for the continuing education department of the Berklee College of Music. He designed and oversees orchestration and film scoring courses that educate hundreds of composers worldwide each year. Newhouse has also guest lectured at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in Sydney, Australia and Pescara Conservatory in Pescara, Italy.

Born in Budapest, Hungary, Laszlo Mezo gained national recognition as one of the top musicians of his generation when he won First Prize in the “Kertész Ottó Memorial Competition” at the young age of 18. Since then, Mr. Mezo has forged a career as a soloist, recitalist, master teacher, and chamber musician. He has performed extensively in Europe, Asia, and North and South America. As a soloist, Mr. Mezo has performed with maestros Ádám Fischer, Thomas Wilkins, Grant Llewellyn, Zsolt Hamar. As a chamber musician, he has collaborated in recitals with pianists Kevin Fitz-Gerald, Steven Vanhauwaert, Gábor Farkas, Márta Gulyás, Piotr Folkert, and Balázs Szokolay, violinist Kristóf Baráti, cellist Philipp Muller, and the Bartók Quartet. Currently residing in Los Angeles, California, Mr. Mezo is a member of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. He is a sought after soloist and an active studio musician in Hollywood. He has played in many film scores, some most updated blockbusters include Ice Age, Life of Pi, Wolverine, and The Lone Ranger.
