Cicada Sounds takes you to summer slumber in Memphis TN where the chirping hummm swells and contracts, entering your mind during the first phase of sleep. There poppy songs with catchy hooks and beautiful cello melodies start to distort and become surreal in noise. Female and Male vocals alternate, similar to Sonic Youth, Pixies and Talking Heads.

Alicja Trout (Lost Sounds/River City Tanlines) steps out of the room of blaring guitars and screaming rock n roll laughter to relate another world, a world of childhood memories with flowers, frogs, best friends and flying saucers. sweet memories are swirled with symphonic cello and wild-turkey guitar solos and bends. Robby Grant (Vending Machine/Big A** Truck) gets phobic with addiction tendancies, ghosts, and insect invasion. Guitars swoon, vocals carry you on a roller coaster ride of gliding and falling, racing and curling.
