I've been a mom, teacher, software engineer, rancher, and now am a songwriter. This is the most fun! I write songs about real children, and get all my material from the stories my friends share with me about their fabulous, brilliant and handsome children and grandchildren and the nifty things they do. I love jazz and the blues, and these elements are in every song, yet they are simple and easy to sing and play. Even very little children love these songs; they are about them and the things they do. "Catch a Fish," sung by Kelly McPhail and Jim Donelan, was featured on The Osbournes December 10, 2002. We were pretty excited about that!
