简介
I've been a mom, teacher, software engineer, rancher, and now am a songwriter. This is the most fun! I write songs about real children, and get all my material from the stories my friends share with me about their fabulous, brilliant and handsome children and grandchildren and the nifty things they do. I love jazz and the blues, and these elements are in every song, yet they are simple and easy to sing and play. Even very little children love these songs; they are about them and the things they do. "Catch a Fish," sung by Kelly McPhail and Jim Donelan, was featured on The Osbournes December 10, 2002. We were pretty excited about that! Kenny Curtis, PRogRam diRecToR of XMKiDS! for XM Satellite Radio selected a couple of my songs for broadcast on XMKiDS: "Let's Sing La La La" and "Lullaby for Eliza Grace." These songs will play during their preschool program called ShortWave (9am - 12Noon PST, 12Noon - 3pm EST. And, "Lullaby for Eliza Grace" will be added to the DreamCatchers program that runs at bedtime and overnight. Ingrid Harding of PlayhouseRadio.com sent this: Thank you for sending your CD! We would love to use "Let's Sing La La La" and "Emma" on our site. Ingrid is CEO & Program Director of http://www.PlayhouseRadio.com ...where kids tune in! I have a songbook available for those folks who like to play piano; it is available at my website. The book has all the lyrics and music and wonderful illustrations by Bobbi Shupe, a Colorado children's book artist. CD2, called Pirates & Cowboys, More Songs for You & Me, is ready! Look for it right here. Check out my website for sheet music for all the songs, plus new choral arrangements for your choir.
