Upon moving to Marist College, McKenzie met singer/songwriter Ryan Clark. McKenzie and Ryan have been collaborating on music since 2013. In May 2015, McKenzie and Ryan wrote “The Way Out”; McKenzie wrote the lyrics and Ryan wrote the music. McKenzie hopes that “The Way Out” will bring hope and strength to anyone struggling with anxiety, depression, heartache, or any form of loss or pain.
