简介

On the wave of their first US tour, Kreep had been voted "favorite up and coming band" in the 2003 year in review issue of Metal Edge magazine. "Inimitable showmanship and a fundamental metal approach make checking out vocalist Brett Pirozzi and his band a sure bet," claimed Metal Edge scribe Roger Lotring of former Manic Recording Artists Kreep. Throughout 2003 and 2004, while touring North America in support of famed '80's metal band, Skid Row, Kreep pummeled audiences into submission night after night with an explosive 30-minute set built upon one simple strategy: hammer out one killer tune after another and leave the unsuspecting masses begging for more. From Bangor, Maine to Minneapolis, Minnesota, each nightly performance was topped off with recurring chants of "Kreep, Kreep, Kreep," from people who had never even seen the band before. Songs like "Go," "What," and "The Way That I Am" quickly became fan favorites. In an effort to bridge the gap between the industrial evil that characterized his former outfit with something more musically viable, Kreep founder/vocalist Brett Pirozzi (Ex-Bile, Green Jello) enlisted the formidable production and songwriting skills of guitarist Kevin Delaney (Out've The Box, Sugar Love Honey, Grayson Manor) whom would co-write and produce the bands 2003 debut CD Spooky Chick and the bands follow-up EP Carpetride. An accomplished performer in his own right, Delaney's contributions on both releases showcase a diverse body of work that is characterized by his indelible song craftsmanship and high octane performance. Kreep's 2003-04 touring lineup also consisted of bassist Freddy Villano (Quiet Riot, Widowmaker, Sugar Love Honey) and drummer John Skaarre.
