Equally compelling are the lyrics & the singer's emotive voice, which is especially effective on the haunting ballad, "Taken." Best of all is "Anyway," where the lyrics detail the resignation felt at the end of a relationship at the same time the melody insists on moving forward. Let's hope we can hear more from this unique talent soon.
