About Jerry Jerry was introduced to music immediately after birth. His mom loved to sing and shared the gift with him daily. For that matter, his entire family, on both sides, were singers & musicians. Jerry says, “I guess you could say music in my family was nearly as important as breathing.” Jerry performed with several bands over the years, though he didn’t start singing till he was out of school. His first true “band” experience came through The Brownlow Family Band which consisted of his mom, Dad, and brother Randy. In Jerry’s words, “I was about 18 years old performing at a country Jamboree in Morton Texas and I sang sort of a comedy tune. That’s all I remember. I was terrified but I made it through!” Jerry has been a member of the Maines Brothers Band since 1977, recording 7 albums including two with Mercury Polygram. Had a top 25 Hit on Billboard in the early 80’s and has toured all over the country performing with the likes of Ronnie Milsap, Alabama, Dr Hook, Barbara Mandrell, Merle Haggard, Reba McEntire, Brooks & Dunn and many more. In 1994 Jerry was inducted into the West Texas Walk of Fame along with all members of The Maines Brothers Band. I dedicated my life to my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ in 2001. Jesus Christ is my life & He is why I sing!
