Jay Patten and his band recorded this warm ,modern version of "Oh Tannenbaum" live in the studio ."We actually recorded the song two days before Christmas Eve a few years back. The recording control room was packed with friends so it was as much a party as a session." says Jay.The musicians in Jay's band at the time were Alan Steinberger on keyboards ,Toni Sehulster on bass ,Tommy Wells on drums and Larry Chaney on guitar .The studio was Nashville's famed Jacks Tracks Recording Studio were the hits of Garth Brooks,Crystal Gayle and so many others were recorded.
