Sonic Fields is music producer/DJ/multi instrumentalist Celeste Lear's 4th solo release & her most refined and sophisticated album to date. Celeste ventures away from her traditional vocal based songs into the world of instrumental electronica borrowing inspiration from artists like Bonobo, Tycho, Gramatik and Zero 7. As always, she combine's her signature use of creatively programmed beats & loops, melodic synths with different more "organic" instrumentation such as acoustic guitars, voice & cellos into a mellow album featuring downtempo, glitch and some dub. Sonic Fields also features guest musicians on a few tracks including Laura Vall, Divasonic, CelloJoe and Colfax.
