Sneak preview of DJ Milok's new album Stop & Dance Party At My House Se7enth Fury Grammaton Records' rising star DJ Milok has definitely created a style of his own with his massive heavy electrohouse tracks, and Party At My House does a fantastic job of warming up the club. Insane beat and rhythm, we almost blew our woofers on this one. Wow! Paraiso Trance Here we go again! Trancy electro track, with fantastic synths, and a very effective gritty melody. Milok's own lo-fi spanish vocals combine perfectly. A sudden change in beat mid-track; but don't be fooled. This track will most certainly destroy dancefloors wherever it's played. Vodka Tonic Our favourite of the lot. This track really shines - very cool melody, rhythm and synths. Don't be fooled with the buildup - a really wicked, sinister sounding massive lead is a few seconds away. This track is the epitome of electrohouse: thick, dirty basslines, melodic twists, and pounding rhythms and beats. Absolutely fantastic sounding on our reference-class Mark Levinson 535H amps. Dirty Filthy Sex Enormous track, with some serious electro house showcasing. Very solid progressive groove with an uplifting percussion - flawlessly produced. Grabs the listener's attention and just never let's go or relinquish its grip throughout. A well rounded, party track. Stop & Dance This isn't the star of the album for no reason - very top quality tech, with a mix of minimal elements and pounding grooves. Filled with bright stabs, snappy, crisp percussion and droning keys. A fascinating track, filled with electrifying tones, pulsating notes and accentuated rhythms. A keeper! Outta My Mouth A tough, funky track filled with hip hop styled undertones, electro synths and a smooth, groovy vocal. Milok works up the vibe with a gritty grooves and undulating basslines. Outta My Mouth features smooth drops that paradoxically breathe air into this monster track. Two thumbs up! Let The Bruce Kick This track starts with a Bruce Lee signature kung-fu cry, but then seems to "sneeze" his way through the track. Don't be swayed - its an absolute stormer. Twinkling progressive synths, atmospheric strings and groovy basslines build a chunky rhythm that's a sure club bombshell. Surprising piano riffs makes us simply love this track! Static Z Honing on classic, old-school electro house, DJ Milok comes up with some nostalgic house sounds, with a mix of funky and deep progressive. The production and mix is spot on, with special attention made on drums. Strong rhythm focusing, with some siren-sounding elements reminding us of Kill Bill (Quincy Jones' Ironside). Fantastic! I Live For Dance Music Beautiful keys strike us immediately, with solid, insistent house riffs, rhythms and stomping percussions providing a dramatic dancefloor punch. Staccato synths, distant melodic textures and a rumbling low end make this track a smash hit. Huge sound - DJ Milok delivers the goods yet again. Highly recommended! Paraiso Trance (Instrumental) Rounding out this fantastic electro house release is an instrument version of Paraiso Trance (i.e.: sans Milok vocals). The very effective melody stands out, and yet again we are reminded of Ironside from time to time. Sonar-style keys drive us into party land! Certainly a dancefloor destroyer!
