Mike Milligan and the Altar Boyz are a well Established Austin Blues band that has been together for 3 years. They are a Powerful presence Live and this reflects in their first recorded release "GOING UP" The driving force that leads this band is Lead Vocalist and Harmonica Player Mike Milligan. His soaring vocals have been compared to Junior Medlow. The stand out Lead Guitar is provided by Scott Unzicker. His less is more attitude is a tasty compliment to the driving force Rhythm Section of Leland Parks on Bass and "Dr." Dave Novak on Drums. The keyboard work was done by Austin Native Jak Payne.Solidly based in old traditional Blues, Mike Milligan and the Altar Boyz take the Blues to another level.
