"I’ve never made friends drinking milk.” A classic catchphrase heard throughout bars in Brazil, and a sentence that illustrates the birth of this band, which is above all, a boozy friendship. Gabriel “Pexeira, Augusto, Thiago, Henrique and Fabinho decided to gather and play an uncompromised rehearsal, and maybe this lack of compromise was what naturally shaped the band’s identity. In 2011, near São Francisco neighbourhood in Curitiba/PR, Red Foot was conceived. Within it’s songwriting, Red Foot is a band that blends the feeling of the cotton planting Mississipi Delta slaves, with the psychedelic density of the 60’s and 70’s Detroit bands. Making music with an unique identity and freedom when improvising comes at hand. The way the band sounds pleases Rock’n’roll lovers, as can be perceived in the album titled “The Road”, released in 2013. “The Road” takes the listener through the roads that lead from Blues to Rock, with catchy riffs e psychedelic arrangements, which brings the band’s acid and unique sound.
