Hailing from Dayton, Ohio, U.S.A., The Professors specialize in one thing, and one thing alone: hip-shakin, rafter-swingin, barn-stormin rock 'n' roll. These five dropouts offer up a suitable alternative to higher education via trashy 12-bar rave-ups and an incendiary (or at least, incandescent) live act. Taking their cue from such legendary raunch-n-rollers as THE SONICS, THE WILDE KNIGHTS, and THE SPARKLES, The Professors have made it their mission to deliver the Now-Sound to the untamed youth of today.

Richard M.F. Stockton XII swings the mic, while Tony Trutone Moore assaults a wide range of vintage guitars... Nasty Nick Yates mashes the keys, and Derek D. Gullett pummels the bottom end until the last beer glass rattles off the table... Meanwhile, resident man-about-town Phil Ravenous Cavenous tears the kit a new one.
