국립국악원 게임 사운드 시리즈 National Gugak Center's Game Sound Series 국립국악원 X 검은사막 - 아침의 나라 Land of the Moring Light - Black Desert [Album Review] 음악은 경계를 넘나들며 사람들을 이어줍니다. 실제로 음악으로 얘기하면 모두가 알아 듣습니다. 음악은 누군가에게 큰 선물이 되기도 하고, 때로는 평안과 위로를 가져다 주지요. 우리 음악이 생활국악으로 자리 잡길 바라며 이번 앨범을 기획했습니다. 이 앨범을 게임 유저를 비롯한 많은 사람들과 나눌 수 있게 되어 대단히 부듯합니다. Music crosses boundaries and connects people. Indeed, when music speaks, everybody understands. Music can be a great gift to some people while also bringing peace and solace to others. I curated this album with the fervent hope that traditional Korean music can also become a part of people's lives in our time. Whether or not you are a fan of traditional Korean music, I am very proud to be able to share this album with a wider range of listeners, including those into gaming. [Song Review] 01. 동해도 전경 The Scenery of Donghae 이 곡은 이미 원곡에서 국악기가 비중 있게 활용되어 동양적인 색채를 많이 가지고 있다. 원곡의 구조와 방향을 그대로 유지하되, 피아노가 담당했던 핵심 반주를 25현 가야금으로 변화시켰고, 대금 소금, 피리, 해금을 사용하여 국악기 선율이 다채롭게 가미되도록 편곡했다. 거문고 특유 주법을 타악기처럼 배치하여 여러 국악기들이 돛을 올리고 위풍당당하게 망망대해를 헤쳐 나아가는 모습을 표현했다. 곡의 중반부부터 등장하는 타악기(꽹과리) 리듬은 휘모리 장단의 특징적인 다이나믹을 강조하여, 원곡에서 보여준 굿거리 장단 형식과는 차별성을 갖게 되었다. This track displays a strongly Eastern feeling, as traditional instruments were heavily featured in the original song. The arrangement maintained the original structure and directions, but the key piano accompaniment was replaced by a 25-string gayageum, and the daegeum, sogeum, piri, and haegeum were used to add a colorful melody of traditional instruments. The unique playing technique of the geomungo is placed in the piece to portray the image of various traditional instruments sailing majestically into the sea with their sails hoisted. The percussion (kkwaenggwari) in the middle of the piece emphasizes the characteristic dynamism of the hwimori jangddan and distinguishes it from the gutgeori jangdan from the original song. ━ Arrangement: Jinhwan Kim Original song's copyright owner: PearlAbyss (Composition: Jiyoon Kim) 02. 아침으로의 초대 The Morning's Invitation 원곡과 같이 단소, 태평소, 해금 등이 주선율을 담당하도록 하였으며, 가야금과 국악타악기들을 적절하게 배치하여 서양악기들과의 자연스러운 결합을 시도하였다. Similar to the original song, the main melody in this arrangement is played by instruments such as the danso, taepyeongso, and haegeum.
