Since forming in early 2010, CITIES has been a band with one clear purpose - TO MAKE GOOD MUSIC. Based out of Pasadena, CA, the band draws from a wide variety of musical experiences and the result is a refreshing mix of Southern Rock and Alternative Country. Lead singer and songwriter, Robert Oliver (Modesto/Redding, California), has been writing music since the age of the 13 and credits Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional as the reason he picked up a guitar. He is backed by the melodic lines of Bruno Justi (Brazil) on lead guitar, who's Brazilian swagger shows through his playing. Keeping the rhythm is an Eagle Rock local, Jose Garcia on drums. On the lower side of things, Pasadena born and raised Cody Scott holds everything down on bass. This musical diversity provides a dynamic sound and over the past year the band has been creating a musical mosaic that just keeps getting better. Cities has just released their first LP – "Dear Bonnie, Love Clyde" – and have been performing at different venues in LA. "Dear Bonnie, Love Clyde" was produced by Robert "Bobby" Oliver and engineered by John Avila and David Beyer.
