Rip Haven has created an aggressive, yet easily listenable, WWII themed album. While each song on this album has the ability to stand on its own as singular works, when consumed in sum, the whole paints a haunting picture from multiple vantages of the second great war. Each track has been carefully crafted to allow listeners to insert themselves into the concepts of the individual themes covered, while also staying true to the hard hitting critiques, observations and considerations of war based concepts such as betrayal, anger, guilt, etc. This sophomore release from Rip Haven proves that they are more than just typical hard rock.
