Converge Band regularly leads worship at Converge, a contemporary service of Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Led by Casey Taylor, Converge Worship Leader, the service is known for its intimate setting and worship experience. Casey, along with the Converge Band (Richard Shafer – Drums, Chike Okaro – Bass, Kimberlee Weidenhamer – Vocals), collaborated with producer Jordan Critz (Green River Ordinance, Tim Halperin) to create Causing Our Hearts To Sing, their three-song debut EP. Consisting of all original music and lyrics, the songs are mainstays in Sunday morning Converge services. Converge Band hopes this collection of songs are a blessing and encouragement to their Christ Chapel congregation, as well as to anyone else who intercepts their music. “Hope of Glory,” “Restored,” and “The Privilege of Knowing the King” will also be featured on an upcoming full-length album, due out in late 2014.
