We welcome Symplx into the family with the release of 'Life Jacker,' a brand new TechHouse EP from long-time Ontario master beat crafter Jason Justin. This EP is firmly rooted in classic Great Lakes Toronto/Detroit sensibilities and should have a home in the crate of any DJ looking to properly jack a party. 'Work the Codec (Jason Justin Remix)' is all about simple, deep grooves riding over shifting classic Roland TR-909 rhythms. JGarrett's Dub inflected reinterpretation of 'Work the Codec,' retaining much of the flavor of the original while finding some new space to fit a smoother variety of jack in at a different angle. 'Back 2 Dat' eases some Acid into a similar restrained TechHouse approach, but turns the temperature up and lets things come to a rolling boil.
